This Tabinomushi tour begins with a private visit inside the family home with the owner of the brewery showing their traditional garden, a Western-style reception room, and a professional video showcasing their history and brewing. Next guests are invited to tour the brewery, built in part with traditional carpentry using wood harvested from nearby Wakayama forests and transported to the brewery by sea. Lastly, guests can pray at the Shinto shrine on the property (a unique feature) before visiting the tasting room featuring freshly brewed sake and a variety of sakes available for purchase by the glass or bottle.

When the tour of Naniwa Shuzo is finished, guests are invited to walk along the beautiful seashore; visit a Buddhist temple; and finish at a small restaurant famous with local fishermen.

The sake is delicious! The experience is unique. Enjoy original Japanese sake culture by meeting the family that brews it, and by doing so, keeping a traditional way of life alive today.

こちらのたびのむしのツアーでは、大阪南部に位置する浪花酒蔵へ貸し切り見学いたします。酒蔵のみならず、有形文化財に登録されたお屋敷の見学もさせていただき、浪花酒造の特色をふんだんにご説明した後、お土産にお酒のご購入も可能です。

浪花酒造の見学後は、地元のお寺(尾崎別院)を訪問し、海沿いを歩きます。ランチに新鮮なお刺身の漁師めしをいただいて、最寄り駅へご案内士ツアーを終了します。

もちろん、お酒の美味しさは抜群！この酒蔵見学の経験も貴重なものです。

日本の伝統的な酒造りの方法を生かして生活している様子を、直接お話を聞いて見て感じることができるはずです。

The itinerary: Meet at Ozaki Station (Nankai Railway) just in fron of the only one ticket gate. And together we head to the next station along the sea side, visiting a sake brewery and a buddhist temple, and a local restaurant.

• This is a 5 hour walking tour (inc. lunch) in English by a professional National-licensed tour guide. One of the tour guides is actually one of the rare native English-speaking professional sake brewers in Japan, Gordon Heady. Gordon’s years of experience and insights makes the Tabinomushi tour experience special.
• Comfortable shoes are recommended.
• The number of participants is up to 6. (Children are not counted.)
• Entrance fee is not required. A souvenir and lunch are included in the fee.
• Your guide is holding a flag and waiting for you at the meeting point.
